We made it

After an 18-hour plane ride and a 3-hour bus ride, all preceded by what now seems like a very short 48-minute plane ride, we have arrived at Prayer Mountain.  Today, we went to church and worshipped, got to ride ATVs through the park, and some of us climbed Prayer Mountain.  Tomorrow, our real work begins.  Happy Mother's Day!

    Hey Jason,
    I just wanted to let you know that I'm praying for you and I know that the Lord will use you in a way that you didn't know was possible. It's truly a blessing to have friends who are passionate about serving the Lord, so much that they give up their time, money and lifestyle to spread the word and proclaim his love with your hands. I love you brother, and you'll have plenty of stories to tell me in July, I'll be waiting.

    Glad that you all made it safely and I'm excited for the work you all will be doing through the week. Shannon, I told your mom happy mother's day for you as well. I miss you and love you and am proud of the great things you are doing there. I wish I was there with everyone...by the way, if anyone is bored, Micah will roll down the hill in the back of prayer mountain with anyone who asks. Just watch out for the rocks and trees. :)

    Just wanted to say hello and hope you had a great day 4wheeling. I remember when you and I went on our Land Rover trip and how much you enjoyed it. Your Mom got the message you sent and is not sure how to send one back. Glad you are safely in South Africa and able to help so many people, they will love you for it. Uncle Rick is here for Mothers Day and I am giving him this blog to keep up with all of your good work.Mom just got in from work and says hello and she really misses you alot. Love you bunches

    Hey Jefferson, what a nice surprise to wake up to your email Amazon gift card, you are always so thoughtful! I had a wonderful Mothers Day but we all missed you being with us. I know you are doing what you love and your passion for helping others and spreading Gods love make me a very proud Mom!! Roger Is great and yes he's staying in the house, so much for dog rules:).     So glad your team has arrived safely. I received the beautiful flowers. What a surprise! They smell wonderful! Thank you! Smokie asked where her flowers were. I reminded her she is not a mother.

    I am still in Maryland and will be heading back to NC later this morning. I gave Jahson the blog site address so hopefully you will hear from him. For some reason I woke up this morning at 3:30.     Hi... love seeing the pictures ! Dee you look like your'e having a "glorious" time !!! This is the verse I have for you guys... Isaiah 61 - - the whole chapter is great - but will share 1-3..... "The spirit of the Lord God is upon you because the LORD has anointed you to bring good news to the afflicted. He has sent you (to Africa) to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives
