Today(Monday) was the first of five days conducting the clinic at a local church. People walk for hours to get treatment. At the clinich we greet them, treat them, provide medical supplies, council patients, and pray for each person. We had a great time playing with the children and getting to love on them. Here are some pictures below to give you an idea of what we're getting our hands into.

Intense dental work |
I am enjoying reading the posts and viewing the images from your trip. You have such a wonderful group to carry out this mission. Glad that you were able to see the wildlife and enjoy the wilderness. The work you are doing is amazing. The dental work startled me a little... but I guess its "any means necessary" Continue to enjoy yourselves and bring God and medicine this population. You are doing such a wonderful job...
ReplyDeleteTana... Don't forget to ride the zebra.

To the team- To those who know me, I miss you all so very much and miss being in South Africa right now! To those who do not and have not been on this trip before, prepare yourself for amazing things to happen this week and for God to work in your hearts daily if you open yourself up to all He wants to show you. I pray for strength for you all this week, for undending energy, for laughter and tears, and many many memories you will never forget. And most of all, I pray that you each will have an awe-inspiring GOD moment. Let Him shine through you!

To all the team members and especially, Mollyrose, Kathy, and Ron: So happy you are experiencing the people of South Africa. We are all God's children and what a wonderful way to help celebrate each others lives! May each person you care for get better and better. You will never realize the impact you will have on their lives, in this short period of time, as they will have on yours. The world is getting smaller and smaller. You probably never imagined this trip occurring even as short a time as a month ago for some. God works in His own way. Thank you so much for following His call and know that we in the States are very proud of you. I am calling Papa Eddie daily and he sounds terrific and beaming with pride that you are all involved in the privilege of helping others. Stay well, experience "happenings", make "forever friends" and know that we love you. Blessings! Love, Marsha Marion
